Conversation on AMC

AMC Day to Day June 17

Content

Living with arthrogryposis shapes everyday life in ways that are often invisible to others. This conversation is a space to talk openly about the realities of navigating the world day to day — at home, at work, socially, physically, and emotionally.

We’ll explore:

daily routines, mobility and accessibility, independence, fatigue and adaptation, relationships and identity and systems that help — and systems that don’t

Most importantly, this is a space for honest conversation, shared experience, and listening without pressure.

Open to anyone living with arthrogryposis, those connected to it through family or care, or anyone wanting to better understand lived experience.

Structure

The session will take place on Zoom and will last around one hour. We begin with a short introduction before opening the space for conversation, reflection, and discussion.

The atmosphere is intended to be relaxed, thoughtful, and welcoming rather than formal.

Follow Up

If this conversation resonates with you, or if you’d like to explore future collaborations, projects, or discussions around accessibility and lived experience, we’d love to continue the conversation — feel free to reach out anytime.

My work focuses on rethinking  lifestyle for people with a disability through lived experience. I’am the developer of Streepi, a platform that helps people with mobility needs find what actually works—based on real experiences (My own and yours), not assumptions. Alongside that, my MBA research looks at the bigger system: where accessibility breaks down, and how leadership and design can do better. I have 20 plus years in education and I am looking forward to bringing members of  community together.
