Code of Conduct

How we operate

This Code of Conduct shapes how Streepi shows up in the world—how we make decisions, form relationships, and take responsibility across all industries. Every action reflects our mission: To guide organisations and communities better to understand accessibility and inclusion through honest conversations, lived experience and practical insight

1. Integrity and Transparency

We act with honesty and openness in every decision. - Communicate truthfully about our impact, services, and partnerships. - Avoid misleading claims, including overstating accessibility or using lived experiences in ways that are extractive or exploitative. Ensure that representation is respectful, accurate, and grounded in real needs.

2. Respect for People and Cultures

We believe our actions should strengthen dignity, diversity, and inclusion by:

1. Rejecting exploitation, discrimination, and appropriation

2. Designing for accessibility and inclusion from the start

3. Represent people truthfully and respectfully—never as tokens or marketing tools

3. Fairness and Equity

We work to:

1.  make systems more equitable by increasing visibility, accountability, and access

2. Surface accessibility and inclusion gaps that are often hidden or overlooked

3. Promote partners and experiences that demonstrate fair, inclusive, and responsible practices

3.Make power imbalances visible

4. Support informed decision-making by providing transparent, experience-based insights

4. Responsibility for impact

We recognize that our words, actions, and decisions have an impact on others. We take responsibility for creating an environment that is respectful, inclusive, and accessible for everyone. When concerns are raised, we listen with openness, reflect on the impact of our behaviour, and take appropriate steps to address issues and improve. Good intentions do not eliminate the responsibility to consider and respond to the experiences of others.

5. Authenticity and Accountability

Authenticity & Measurable Impact
We are committed to honesty in how we understand and communicate impact by:

1. Using evidence, data, and lived experience to inform what we share

2. Avoiding overstating impact or presenting assumptions as fact

3. Continuously learning, adapting, and improving based on new insights

4. Staying accountable through openness, reflection, and dialogue with our stakeholders

6. Collaboration and Co-Creation

We recognise that the most valuable knowledge comes from lived experience and shared perspectives.

We work with partners who are open to learning, listening, and improving and treat collaboration as an ongoing dialogue, not a one-time exchange, as well as fostering mutual respect, curiosity, and collective learning

7. Responsible Marketing and Communication

Our storytelling builds understanding without exploiting people, or experiences.

We represent experiences, and accessibility truthfully—without sensationalism or stereotypes

We avoid using individuals or communities, particularly those in vulnerable positions, as marketing tools and ensure lived experiences are shared with care, consent, and respect.

We credit collaborators, contributors, and partners fairly and transparently.

8. Ethical Decision-Making

We guide our decisions through a commitment to people, transparency, and responsibility.

Before acting, we ask:

  1. Does this respect and reflect the real needs and experiences of people?
  2. Does this increase transparency, understanding, or accountability within  systems?
  3. Is this fair, honest, and responsible in how it represents people, places, and partners?

If a decision does not meet these standards, we pause, question, and reconsider our approach.

9. Implementation and Compliance

Every employee, contractor, and partner is expected to read, understand, and uphold this Code. Breaches of

the Code will be addressed transparently and constructively. The Code will be reviewed annually to reflect

new insights, technologies, and global sustainability standards.

Our Commitment

At Streepi, ethics are not an add-on—they are the foundation of how we design, decide, and show up.

We are committed to making industries more  inclusive, and accountable by centring lived experience, challenging misrepresentation, and supporting more informed choices.
